The Sura "Nur" (Ray) says us that one day among the people began to spread gossip, which denigrates the honor of Aisha (r.a.). And that's one of the disturbing and dark days God has sent down to his prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) above Sura.
Abubakr (may Allaah be pleased with him) then realized and is convinced of the innocence of his daughter. However, he realized that her uncle, who was standing beside her - people, ready to betray.
After the incident, Abubakr vowed to continue to never cross the threshold of the home of his relative. In response to this, Allah Ta'ala revealed the verse of Sura 22, "Nur", which states: "And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
To err is human. You must be able to forgive and be indulgent towards others. However, we must remember one thing: the right to forgive the only one who recognizes his mistake and gave the word to correct it.
