The Jinn: Resurrection, Paradise and Hell

854

After the death of the Jinn, they will be resurrected again and this is evidenced by the verses of the Holy Quran.

Almighty Allah said:

"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers". (The Quran, 6:130)

"Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together". (The Quran, 11:119)

These verses are a clear indication that the jinn, as well as people will be resurrected after their death, and brought to justice for committing acts that then get a promotion or pay the penalty.

According to the majority, the jinn and people depending on their actions in this life will get either to heaven or to hell. In the verses of the Holy Qur'an, which says Paradise rewards and punishments of hell, used general address, and not only to the people.

Fakhruddin Ar-Razy said on this occasion: "Correct to assume that the jinns, being in the same position as the people will fall eventually, either in Paradise or hell. For the obedience will be awarded Savab, for committing evil deeds - earn sins". (Tafsirur-Razi, 28/33)

Alusi believes that "It is clear from verses the jinn receive deserved depending on their degree of humility". (Tafsirul-Alusi, 26/32)

Ibni Hajar al-Haytham also adhered to the view: "The opinion of Ibni Abi Laila Al Awza'i, Malik, Ash-Shafi'i and Ahmad more correct, according to which the Jinn, as people get exactly what they deserve". (Ibni Hajar al-Haytham Al-Fatval hadisiyya, page 70)

As proof of the correctness of this opinion are the following verses:

"But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? " (The Quran, 55:46-47)

Ibn Kathir, explaining this verse, said: "This verse addresses the jinn and people. He suggests that jinns believers, leading a righteous life will go to paradise". (Al-Sabuni, Muhtasar Ibni Kathir Tafsir, 3/421-422)

"In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni". (The Quran, 55:56)

Ash Shivaki said: "This verse in Surah Ar-Rahman, exactly as other verses shows us that the jinn, believers in the One God and His Messenger (peace be upon him), perform good deeds and being protected from decries go to heaven".

"And for all are degrees from what they have done. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do". (The Quran, 6:132)

"And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together". (The Quran, 32:13)

Allah will say: "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know". (The Quran, 7:38)

Summarizing, we can say that the jinn, like humans, for acts committed get either to Paradise or Hell.
