In ancient Greece, a wise man lived. He never judged a happy or miserable fate of a man while he was alive.
I think about the purpose of man can be judged also only at the end of his days. After all, people can live a life as polytheist or disbeliever, and on his deathbed to recognize the unity of God and the mission of His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
The Quran says: And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing. The hadeeth narrated from Ali, let Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and greet him, said," (Once) when the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam , attended at the funeral, in his hand was a small stick with which he hit the ground, and (after a while), he said: "Your place in Heaven or Hell is destined to be."
In another Hadith it is reported that Abdullah ibn Masud, God be pleased with him, said: "The truthful and trustworthy Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and greet him, said to us:" Verily, each of you (at first) is formed in the womb of your mother for forty days in the form of drops, then it stays the same (there) in the form of a blood clot and the same - in the form of a piece of flesh, and then Allah sends an angel who is imperative to write four things. He is said: “Write his deeds, his inheritance, his life, and happy he will be or unhappy."
Also, in one of the hadith, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and greet him, said: "Paradise and the Fire (Hell) argued, and the Fire (Hell) said, ‘I have been given the privilege of receiving the arrogant and the tyrants.’ Paradise said, ‘What is the matter with me? Why do only the weak and the humble among the people enter me?’ On that, Allah said to Paradise. ‘You are My Mercy which I bestow on whoever I wish of my servants.’ Then Allah said to the (Hell) Fire, ‘You are my (means of) punishment by which I punish whoever I wish of my slaves. And each of you will have its fill.’ As for the Fire (Hell), it will not be filled till Allah puts His Foot over it whereupon it will say, ‘Qati! Qati!’ At that time it will be filled, and its different parts will come closer to each other; and Allah will not wrong any of His created beings. As regards Paradise, Allah will create a new creation to fill it with."
Knowledge about the "individual" meaning of life, its predestination is not available to man. Only Allah knows it. Thanks to this "secret" we have an opportunity to educate ourselves. Since the final decision still depends on Him.
As for the conscious actions, I want to recall the words of the Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam: "Take Action." Proceed in accordance with the requirements of Islam and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. And then, God will ease the way for us to Paradise!
