The reality of Paradise - this is something that people will never understand, but God has shown us a glimpse of it in the Quran. He described it as a place essentially different from life in this world, as the purpose of life and the delights which people will enjoy it. The Quran tells people about Paradise, which offers them Allah describes his great blessings, and proclaims it the most beautiful of all.
The Quran informs people that Paradise is one of the two ways of life prepared for them in the afterlife, and that all good things, there will be presented in such a degree that we can not even imagine. The Quran also shows that Paradise is a place where all good things were created perfect, people will be far removed from want and need, anxiety, sadness, sorrow and regret. All the beauty and blessing exists in Paradise, which will open in perfect form, which nobody has ever seen and did not know before. In Paradise, Allah has prepared such blessings as a gift, and they will be available only to those people, whom He pleased.
But what is the nature of these delights in Paradise, and how they are different from the delights of this world? We will try to highlight some of these differences.
Pure pleasure without pain and suffering
In the worldly life, even people and experience the delight and joy, they also face difficulties and suffering. It is obvious that the number of the difficulties faced by the people, much more, in comparison with the joys. As for life in the future, there will be no hardship nor suffering, and people will live full of joy and delight of life. All the causes of sorrow, pain and suffering which people experience in this life will end in Paradise.
Wealth - that's what people want to possess by nature at any cost, and this desire has been created for the great and wise purpose. When this desire is not satisfied, it causes despair in man. For this reason, God promised the inhabitants of Paradise, where they will have everything they imagined. It also concerns those, who in a former life was suffering from poverty, hunger and thirst, and those who are already in the earthly world know the generosity of God, but wanted more. Allah says:
Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally. (43:71)
Eat and drink for health for what you have done in the past days!” (69:24)
Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place. (18:31)
Illness and death
Another cause of pain and suffering in this life is the death of a loved one or diseases that do not exist in Paradise. No one will feel the pain and the disease in Paradise. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said about the people of Paradise:
"In Paradise they will not spit or blow their nose or defecate." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
No one dies in Paradise. Everyone will live forever, enjoying the pleasures. As the Prophet, peace be upon him, and so welcomed, included in the Paradise will be greeted with the words:
"Truly, always be healthy and never get sick, live and never die, be young and not let you come upon an old age, enjoy and have never felt sorrow and regret." (Sahih Muslim)
As for suffering because of the gap in personal relationships, people never hear evil or hurtful statements in Paradise. They will only hear good words. Allah says:
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - Only a saying: "Peace, peace". (56:25-26)
In Paradise there will be no hatred, no violence between people:
And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah , who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do." (7:43)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"In Paradise there will be no hatred or resentment among the people, their hearts will be as one, and they will glorify Allah morning and evening." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
In a future life, people will have the best of friends, who were also the best people in the world:
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions. (4:69)
Hearts of the people of Paradise will be pure, their speech will be good, their deeds righteous. Paradise is free from all the useless words and deeds.
