The national question
The Muslim ummah by definition is one that is independent from states, countries, nations and ethnic groups, Muslims, holds one spirit of Islam.
Almighty Allah says in the Qur'an:
"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." (The Quran, 49:13)
If we follow the history of the reign of the first caliphs, we can ensure that the national and international problems in the caliphate did not arise. If the war were, then only on the basis of religion. And attached to the caliphate areas actively used local languages. Nations were not oppressed. On the contrary, each of the ethnic groups were given a free opportunity to develop national culture and the overall adherence to the caliphate beneficial effect on the history of nations. Arabic became the international language because it is the language of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
The messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and greet, said that belonging to a certain nation does not play a role in the degree of the believer before God and that the best of the Ummah is the one who is the most pious. And the tolerance and acceptance of other Nations and peoples is also a part of godliness.
What to do?
First, every Muslim must recognize his kinship with the rest of the Muslim world, which includes every person who pronounces the formula of evidence. If someone still refuses this decision, then he should look for the cause in himself. And perhaps this is the reason will be laid in his arrogance, false beliefs, hypocrisy, etc.
Secondly, it is necessary to stop any attempts of disunity. They can be expressed in humiliation of other Muslims on any «national» or «religious» grounds. We must turn to the will of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and so welcomed, who said: "The one of you who saw the crime, let him change it with you hand; if you are not able to do so, then with your tongue; and if fails to do so, then with your heart - this is the weakest of faith» it is Necessary to remember that part of this grave sin lies on the one who has the ability to influence, failed to do so and was criminally passive.
Third. We reminded the hadith that the degree of a person before God is not determined by nationality, or other characteristics, except for his piety and devotion. We need to ask God for the good of our Ummah, for all Muslims. Prayers for other Muslims is one of the best evidence of the purity of intention of the believer and one of the strengths of his faith. If we see that a man is really in the wrong, we should try to help him out of the darkness of unbelief or dishonesty with kindness and wisdom. Need to pray that God brought the heart of every Muslim on the right path.
Implementation of the above recommendations will help to strengthen our Ummah, restore its unity in the minds of believers, to eliminate intra-and inter-ethnic strife, and give each of us a strong hope for a happy outcome and satisfaction of the Almighty.
