Good deed

543

One devout man lived all his life in perfect harmony with his wife until her death. After his wife's death, his friends told him, "We'll get married". However, this person rejected a proposal about the marriage, saying, "Loneliness is better for me. I'm so calm".

In the continuation of this pious man says: "In the following Friday after the death of his wife, I saw a dream. In the dream, I saw the gates of heaven opened, and from there descend what that people following the heavens, one after another. Each of them referring to the next in line, said: "It is an unhappy man". And the man walking behind, in confirmation said: "Yes". When I passed by the last of these people, I was afraid to ask directly why they say so. So I asked him:

- Who is that miserable person?

- You!

- Me? Why?

- We praised your deeds to heaven, among those who work tirelessly in the way of Allah. However, with the previous Friday we were ordered to not put your deeds alongside the deeds of those who work tirelessly in the way of Allah. However, we do not know the reason. When morning came, I told my friends: "Marry me".

After seeing a dream, this man has always been simultaneously 2-3 wives.

(Ruhul-Bayan 2/182)

EDIFICATION:

There are many hadiths indicating the dignity of marriage. For example, it is reported that the Messanger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

"When a man marries, he has fulfilled half of his religion, so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half".

Hence, the act of a married man ascend to heaven together with the deeds of those who strive in the way of Allah. As a married man works to provide sustenance for the family, raise and educate his children, giving his time to his family, and so on. All this is not easy. Committing to worship God in these not simple conditions, is a big deal. And the reward for this is a big deal, is that the deed of that person ascend to heaven together with the deeds of those who strive in the way of Allah.

Almighty Allah has allowed men - Muslims have four wives. This issue is explained in verse 3 of Surah an-Nisa.

However, this is the permission that has certain conditions exist, such as the observance of justice. This verse says that it is preferable to marriage with a woman.
