Indonesian newspaper "La Repubblica Online", referring to the Mufti Sheikh Mohammed bin Al-Kawthar Adam, director of the center fatwas in London, reported that  Abou Diaby completed the memorization of the nineteenth juz (parts) of the Holy Quran.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Adam has also published his photo with Arsenal midfielder and signed: "This is my picture with my friend Abou Diaby, Arsenal player. My friend, Abou Diaby, learned the 19th juz of the Quran.

It should be noted that Abou Diaby has started the new season in the English Premier League well, not once having his team out.

In the English Premier League there are many Muslims players who in recent seasons show brilliant game. Among them are such stars as last year's champion of England, the French midfielder club "Manchester City" Samir Nasri, his teammates Ivorian Yaya Toure and Bosnian Edin Dzeko, the star of the club "Newcastle" French Tunisian Hatem Ben Arfa, his teammates Sheikh Ivorian Tiote, Senegalese Papis Cisse and his compatriot Demba Ba, as well as goalkeeper of the club "Wigan" Ali Al-Habsi.

Muslim players, who play in the English Premier League won the confidence and respect of all others. An example of this is the fact that the British bank "Barclays", the official sponsor of the English Premier League awarded Yaya Toure the award for the best player of the game, replaced a bottle of champagne on the herbal drink, not to offend Toure and other Muslim players who play in the English Premier League.
