The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) showed a shining example in the education of children

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) treated children gently. According to one of the examples on this topic, a small child named Riifi ibn Amr al-Gyfiri was caught by companion from among the Ansaar, the owner of date palms, because he threw stones at palm trees. The companion brought the boy to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and informed about the incident. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked his the reason for his behavior. He replied that he was hungry, and did so to satisfy his hunger. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) smiled and patting the boy’s head said, “Do not throw stones into the trees. Take it and eat those that have fallen from the tree”. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warns him and shows him the best model of behavior.

Another time, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent his adolescent age servant Anas Hazrat (may Allah be pleased with him) on an errand. However, playing with children on the street, he forgot himself and lingered. In this regard, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went outside and saw that Anas playing with the children, he (peace be upon him) silently crept up behind him, laughing and asked about whether he fulfilled his message. According to Anas Hazrat, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) never scolded him when he served him for 10 years. In case of wrong things he did not do this problem. He (peace be upon him) did warnings in plain language. Indeed, once, when a child named Umar ibn Abi Salamah behaved improperly during the meal, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned him gently. The fact that while eating Umar stuck his fingers on all sides of a plate. As a result, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) informed him of the wrongness of his behavior and advised to pronounce Bismillah, eat with right hand on the side of plate, which is located directly in front of him.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was joking with the kids. Especially he joked with Anas Hazrat (may Allah be pleased with him), who was ten years his servant and at the same time growing up under his (peace be upon him) supervision.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) like a child playing with the children, contributed to the development of mutual understanding and create positive relationships. He hugged and kissed them, stroked their head and during jokes asked about their mood. He visited them when they were sick and when the opportunity to put on his mount.

This behavior is a shining example in the education of children. Because these features play an important role in the upbringing of children. Also, do not forget that the principles based on these examples should be considered especially in the family upbringing and education of children. Because these principles are a major factor in the formation of a healthy society.
