Duties of the Jinn are the same as humans. In any case, most scientists think so.
Imam Subki was asked: "Do the Jinn have their laws? Or something that necessarily for people necessarily for them? And if they have separate duties why we do not know about them? Why did the Prophet (peace be upon him), explaining about angels, who are not responsible and are not subjects, and their worship, did not talk anything about the worship of the jinn?
At this Imam Subki replied as follows: "As seen from the verses and hadith, the jinn do not have any specific laws, and what is mandatory for us, and is obligatory for them. Duty of purity and prayer for them is required, as well as for us. And if they have separate rules, our ignorance of them will not change anything and nothing to affect. And if that is not the purpose of our knowledge, respectively, Allah does not notify us about it".
Due to the fact that the belief in the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Holy Quran is obligatory for them, respectively, all the rules prescribed in the Quran, for them are obligatory for the implementation and observance. If the Prophet (peace be upon him) told us about the worship of angels, but did not mention the worship of the jinn, this does not mean that they do not make worship. Besides He (peac be upon him) did not tell us about all aspects of life of angels, but only told certain part, as an example. (Al-Fetawas Subki 2/611-612, 623)
In conclusion we can say that the jinns have similar with people obligations. But, due to the nature of their creation, they also have other obligations.
