Question: What are the rules of behavior in the mosque? Is it allowed to hang such rules in the mosque for public viewing?

Answer:

Faqih Abu Layth Al-Samarkandi (may Allah have mercy on him) in the book “Tanbihul Gafilin” mentioned in relation to the mosque there are 15 good actions:

1.      Greet people “Salam” at the entrance to the mosque, where people are sitting there, not doing a lesson or dhikr. If no one in the mosque, or people pray namaz (dhikr), he says: " Asalamu Alaina Mir Rabbina Wa Ala Ibadilahis Saliheen” (translation: “Peace to us by our Lord and all the righteous servants of Allah”).

2.      Before you sitting down to read the two rak'at prayer “Tahiyatul Masjid” (prayer greeting the mosque).

3.      Do not make the sale (trade);

4.      Do not take weapons;

5.      Do not look for the lost;

6.      Not raise your voice, except for dhikr of Allah;

7.      Don't talk in the mosque about the mundane;

8.      Do not step over a sitting;

9.      Do not argue for a place;

10.  Do not embarrass people in a row (during prayer);
