The word "Allah" where did it come from?

Question: I really want to know how the word "Allah" was formed. Several times, I have tried to ask my friends, but someone did not know it, and someone gave a blurred, fuzzy response and unwillingly tangled me! I ask you to give me a clear definition, an explanation of the origin of this word, barracka Allah in advance. (Umar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious to all in this world and in the next world the Merciful only to the believers. As-salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!
In general, there are differences on the question of the origin of the word "Allah" among mufassirs. Yet authoritative opinion is that it comes from the Arabic word "Aliha" which meaning is “worshiped". The word "Ilaha" comes from it, it means "god" or the one who is worshiped. The words "Ilaha" was used to refer to the true God (Allah). Standard words "alef" and "lam” (definite article) were added to this word, since this conversion makes the words even more specific. Thus, the word became "al-Ilaha". With the passage of time, Hamza (or alef) was removed in order to facilitate the pronunciation of the word , and the word began to be pronounced as "Allah" ("Tafsir al Baydawi" Volume 1, page 13).
 Allah knows better.
