May I believe woman's words that she is divorced and her iddy period ended?
May I trust a women, if a woman to whom I want to marry says that her husband gave her a divorce and her iddy lasted?
It is said in the books "Al-Fatawa Al-Hindi", in "Kitab-i karaha":
If a woman tells a man (who wants to marry her):
"My husband gave me the triple talaq and my iddah is over", - and if a woman is "adil " (fair), then he can marry her, and if she is "fasika" (wicked), he investigates and behave according to the results (research this situation), just the same is said in the book "Az -Zahir".
