Is it allowed Nikah between the two holidays?
1994

Question: Good day. My friends read the nikah before Eid al Adha! I explained to them that it is a great sin. Everyone also knows that it is impossible to read the Nikah between the two holidays. But they did not listen to me. Hazrat, how can I explain? After all, we have to warn people of the forbidden. I even told them you need to re-read the nikah, but they did not listen to me. Answer:

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious to all in this world and in the next world only the Merciful to the believers.

In fact, not all of what they say is true. In our religion, there is no such source as: "I heard somewhere", "someone told me." We have the Qur'an, Sunnah, Ijma and Kiyas. As for the opinion that one can not get married/married (nikah) between the Eid al-Bayram and Kurban Bayram, it is not true.  In the book of the famous scientist Mulla Ali al-Qari '' Ayn al-'Ilm " in the chapter on Nikah mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) married Aisha (radyyallahu ankh) in the month of Sauval. And as we all know, the month Shauval is the tenth month of the lunar calendar, and follows after the month of Ramadan.

And Allah knows best.
