Fatwa About The Worship In Places Where Sin Is Committed

Is it allowed to read the Quran aloud, do dhikr being in a place where sin is committed?

In the book "Al-Fatawa al-Hindi" in the section "Karahiya" states:

If a person says the word that becomes the cause of Ajra (awards) as a tasbeeh, tahmid, reading the Quran, reading the hadith and fiqh in the majlis fisc (sinful meeting, such as drinking alcohol, etc.), he become a sinner because this neglect has (mocking). If he's in a place made Tasbih for teaching and for rejection to those who participate in this meeting due to they distracted from (forbidden), it will be good, and so the one who says tasbeeh on the market with the intention that careless people distracted from dunya, it is even better than to make tasbeeh outside the market, the same is in he book "Al-Ihtiyar" sharh "Al-Mukhtar".
